Daniel Madapur

His call to ‘bridge the gaps’ in people’s lives was God’s mandate for Daniel Madapur. He initiated a movement with a vision to identify and empower the business community globally through The EDGE.

Danny (as fondly called) brings in more than two decades of diverse experience in various capacities, including Sales & Marketing, Interior Designing, Information Technology Services and Charity Work. During his journey through entrepreneurship, his experience kept motivating him to gather challenging stories of successful business leaders across nations and publish it with the EDGE magazine to inspire and empower entrepreneurs & business leaders.

Danny lives in Bangalore, start-up capital of India, with his wife and daughter. He loves connecting with people and listening to their stories. His hobbies are photography, music and traveling.

Anil Paul

Anil Paul comes with over 15 years of corporate service and consultation experience, where he has successfully managed and overseen domestic and international projects with start-up, mid-sized and larger corporations, and non-profits. He specialises in Organisational Communications, Content Management, Planning & Strategy, and Collaborations.

With The EDGE, Anil takes care of the Media and Business Consultation functions. While doing so, he focuses on building valuable and beneficial relationships across all levels and meeting business goals.

Anil lives in Bangalore with his wife and son. Outside the corporate race, his time undoubtedly goes into music compositions, cooking, creative-writing and spending quality time with his friends and family.

Actively involved in Private Equity, Accelerating Social Entrepreneurship, Impact goals adoption and Enterprise Consulting. Understands the start-up and corporate ecosystem, is passionate about social impact and supports social entrepreneurs.

Serves on the boards of multiple businesses as advisory and mentors several start-ups in the community. Awarded PhD for the study on the development of financial sector in Middle East, Africa, and India.

Consults for leading multinational NGOs and Financial Institutions on Micro-Finance, affordable housing, micro-enterprises and social impact projects and heads HillTree Consulting Group with offices in India and Middle East.

Prior corporate assignments include HSBC, MetLife, AIG and Standard Chartered Bank among others in India, UAE and USA.

Paul Gillette

Paul was born in Telangana, his first language was Telugu, and he studied in Tamil Nadu, before going to the US for higher studies. After finishing an M.Sc. in Educational Administration and Supervision, getting married, and working there for 10+ years, he and his family came to India. In North India he founded East West Educational Foundation and Metro Delhi International School. Coming back to South India he completed an M.A. in Christian Management, and learned about business. This led to writing “Why Indian Christians should be in Business”: An Introduction to Serving through Business. In this book he shares his insights into why he believes business is such an important method through which Christians should serve God, their families and community, and build the nation of India.

Deb Ghosh

A retired international banker, having worked in both emerging as well as OECD markets in Corporate and Investment Banking with Global banks – _BNP Paribas Group, Standard Chartered and ANZ.

Held Senior Banking positions in London, Europe, Africa and India with a deep understanding of capital markets and an excellent track record in risk management and business development. Turned around a Fortis Bank affiliate in Kenya as Managing Director. Thereafter integrated the FI (financial institutions) business for Fortis group managing three offices in Paris, London and Brussels.

During the financial crisis became responsible for Global Commodities Credit Origination and eventual integration of the business with the BNP Paribas Group. Post crisis, responsible for credit management in Capital Markets complying with Basel III regulations and new trading practices. More recently worked with a London based charity initially funded by a UK Hedge Fund in establishing its branch in Bangladesh subsequently funded by UBS Optimus and UNICEF amongst others.

After returning to India, I was invited by my alma mater IIMC as a Visiting faculty to MBA students for a credit course on Derivatives Trading and Capital Markets Regulation.

Sharon Joseph

A retired banker by profession with more than 35 years of rich banking experience. Sharon started her career right after college since 1985 with Syndicate Bank. Post that, she joined Guardian Bank in 1998 when the bank was of considerable help to the Christian community. Sharon was promoted to be the CEO of the bank in 2000and she stayed committed to the role and then retired in 2022.

Besides, Sharon holds a testimony of how her parents originally wanted her to be a missionary but she had a secular occupation in mind on the contrary. Nevertheless, God had used her through Evangelical Union during her college days and enabled her to be of tremendous service to the church in various capacities, in addition to having served as a Board member of various organisations.
